Athletic Achievement: Track's 1991 Hustle Award; Recipient of Optimist Club Top Scholar Male Athlete; All-State 4x I 00 Relay Team-3rd Place; Overall 2nd place team a[ 19 1 Jackson Relays; Member of 4x2OO that broke 1991 Jackson Relay Record; 2nd place in City 300 meter hurdles; 1991 Team-City Champs; Football All City Honors; All Valley Honorable Mention; Best Offensive Player; Best Defensive Back

Scholastic Achievement: Ranks 8th in Senior Class of 245; Three year recipient of 3.5 and above; School Academic Award; Two year participant in Michigan State University's Young Scholars Math Program (very competitive-70 students selected out of 600 applicants); Honor roll every semester; All "A's" in biology, chemistry and physics.

Extra Curricular Activities: Weekly TV show, Teen Talk; Top Teens; Volunteer for United Negro College Fund Walk-a-thon; Church basketball team; Toastmasters USA; Role model speaker for DARE program.

Other Information: Damon plans to pursue a college degree in physics. His ultimate career goal is to become an engineer.

Scholastic Achievement: National Honor Society; Southwestern Academy Academic Letter; Optimist Club-Youth Appreciation Award; D.A.R. (Daughters of the American Revolution of Michigan) Good Citizen Award.
