MARCIE FLYNN -- Flint Northern High School Senior-GPA 3.551

ATHLETIC ACHIEVEMENT: Marcie has participated in varsity basketball for four years and was captain in her junior and senior years. She was selected All-Valley and All-City on the first team in 1990. Marcie was also selected most valuable player by her team in 1990. She participated in track for three years and played volleyball for one year.

SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT: Marcie has a 3.551 grade point average She has reached her high school goal of getting a 4.0 in a marking period which occurred this past marking period. Her courses were in Advanced Math, Chemistry, and Science.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: Marcie is a member of the National Honor Society as well as a member of the Gifted Enrichment Club. She also assisted in the tutoring program. She is an active member at King Solomon Baptist Church. She practices with the boys varsity basketball team to work on her basketball skills. Marcie is also the statistician for the boys basketball team.

FUTURE PLANS: Marcie will be attending the University of Missouri where she has received a full scholarship in Women's Basketball. She plans to pursue a career in medicine. She is interested in Pediatrics and Sports Medicine.


CHRISTOPHER PRYOR -- Flint Southwestern Academy- GPA 3.1

ATHLETIC ACHIEVEMENT: Four years of football and two years as starting quarterback. All City Honors; Saginaw Valley Honorable Mention; Passed for over 1,000 years; Most Valuable Player and Team Captain; Male Athlete of the Year by the Flint Optimist Club. Chris also played on the tennis team and was a member of the City Championship Doubles team for two straight years. Soccer - CANUSA Soccer Team (9, 10). Basketball - MECCA Tournament -3 on 3 basketball champs in 16 and under and 17 and under (11-12 grades); Varsity basketball.

SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT: Christopher is on a college preparatory curriculum and has enrolled in the Math-Science Magnet at Northern high School; Honored by the Optimist Club for academic and citizenship achievement as well as athletic ability.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: Christopher is a senior representative on the student council; involved in the Mayor's Youth Advisory Council. Co-host on "Teen Talk" -- a TV show on Channel 66 -- for three years. Christopher is also involved with the 4-H Club, a member of his church choir as well as being active in the church youth department. He is a member of the Young Men's Christian Council and church public relations department.

FUTURE PLANS: Christopher plans to attend Michigan State University and major in Business Administration.
